An impromptu beer tasting while having lunch at Restaurant 1854 in Greyton on Sunday 31 October 2021

My notes:

When: Sunday 31 October @ 13h00

Where: Restaurant 1854 in Greyton, Western Cape, South Africa

Flower Child IPA

Price (at Restaurant 1854) R47/500ml draught on tap

Appearance: lighter in colour, bright golden yellow
Aroma: very fruity nose, floral hops, banana, tropical
Flavour: very tropical and floral
Taste: sweet at first, MH acidity then MH bitter
Mouthfeel: quite crisp with long bitter finish

Rooinek Amber Ale

Price (at Restaurant 1854) R47/500ml draught on tap

Appearance: darker orange brown colour, slightly cloudy
Aroma: caramel, yeasty, malty
Flavour: caramel, yeasty, malty (you can see by now I was just enjoying the beer)
Taste: M sweet, ML sour, ML bitter
Mouthfeel: round, fuller
